Nicola Bottrell PointOne is run by Nicola Bottrell, a prize-winning translator known for her high standards. As a native English speaker based in the UK, she is ideally placed to produce up-to-date written English. Nicola is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and an Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, the UK’s leading bodies in the field.

Nicola has extensive experience both as a translator and project manager, having worked in translation departments in London, Hamburg and Brussels. Combining her translation and management skills, she set up PointOne Language Services in 2007 to offer an exceptional customer-focused service to business and the translation industry.

Sally Saunders – an experienced journalist and copywriter. After completing an MA in journalism and working as a news reporter she trained as a sub-editor with the Daily Mail and held a staff position with the newspaper for two years. She worked on the Irish launch of the newspaper, where she helped to transform cultural references from the English edition into a message suitable for the Irish audience.

She later worked for the Press Association, the British equivalent to Reuters, writing for a variety of publications, both in print and online. Sally now runs her own company, writing and editing content for business and public sector organisations.

In her collaboration with Nicola, Sally polishes your words into the most effective possible message for your audience – be it British or international, young or old – and helps you hit your target market.

As a keen musician and linguist, Nicola has written on the subject of her two passions.
